George Wheatle Williams, PP, AICP

George founded the firm after a decade and a half of planning in the municipal, federal and non-profit sectors. With over 20 years of experience, George leads the firm’s land use practice. He has provided expert witness testimony before numerous land use boards throughout New Jersey and has served as the Board Planner for several municipalities. Additional specialties include community and economic development, and redevelopment planning. His particular area of interest, however, is planning for distressed communities…providing neighborhood and community planning solutions for those most in need.
He is passionate about civic engagement in the planning process and maintains that citizen participation can indeed affect positive change in our communities. George completed his graduate study in City and Regional Planning at the Rutgers Graduate School of Rutgers University. He is a licensed Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey and nationally certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners. George is a former H.U.D. Community Builder Fellow and periodically lectures, writes about planning issues and serves on a variety of committees as a volunteer.
Michèle S. Delisfort, PP, AICP

A Principal and Managing Partner with the firm, brings a wealth of professional experience in the areas of Redevelopment, Land Use and Neighborhood Planning. She has authored numerous Area Investigations and Redevelopment Plans on behalf of municipalities and local Authorities. Additionally, she understands the importance of civic and community engagement and includes this component as an integral part of the planning process when developing planning documents.
Michèle served as Staff Planner for land use boards and is very adept at project management. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Rutgers University, where she teaches Urban Planning. Michèle is a member of the national American Planning Association (APA) and an active participant in the APA-NJ chapter where she functions as the Redevelopment Planning Committee Chairperson. A licensed and certified Planner, Michèle earned her Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy at Rutgers University.
Gerard M. Haizel, PP, AICP

A Senior Associate with the Nishuane Group, received a Masters of Urban Planning degree from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. He has extensive experience in the areas of community development and planning as well as affordable housing production. Gerard specializes in land use planning and housing development. Extremely proficient with GIS, he has prepared several illustrative and descriptive studies about the demographic and socio-economic conditions to inform land use decision making in urban and suburban communities.
Gerard has represented municipal land use boards as a licensed professional Planner and provided expert witness testimony on behalf of private and public clients throughout New Jersey. Representing numerous applicants and serving as a Commissioner of the Zoning Board of Adjustment in the Township of Montclair for over 10 years, he is very knowledgable about land use board protocols. Gerard is nationally certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.
